In older European woodlands, when the blue bell flowers are in full bloom, you can see a blue expanse at the base of the forest. Just imagining it makes you feel like you're in a magical wonderland. Therefore, the blue bellflower is also one of the basis for identifying original forest lands. In Lincolnshire, England, there are such woodland areas filled with blue lilies of the valley. Perfumer Christine Nagel has created a new bellflower perfume, which includes a variety of fresh green notes, floral accords (lily of the valley, rosehip), and spicy clove. Bellflowers grow in the forest and have a moist, summer forest scent. The British wild bellflower is an endangered plant, and Jo Malone has donated to the Woodland Trust to protect it. The perfume does not contain real bellflower, but uses a combination of various other fragrances to simulate its scent.
